Sabrina Ionescu, Eddy's twin sister, is an American professional basketball player for the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association.

Ionescu was renowned as a skilled shooter and one of the top college basketball players in the country in her very first college season. 

Also, she was a four-year varsity basketball letter winner at her high school named, Miramonte High school, located in Orinda, California, under head coach Kelly Sopak.

The player was born on December 6, 1997, in Walnut Creek, California. UO fans consider Sabrina Elaine Ionescu as one of the four greatest Ducks ever.

She was even considered to be standing alongside such greats as Marcus Mariota. On November 13, 2016, Ionescu made her academic debut for Oregon with an 84-67 win, followed by 11 points over Lamar.

On May 18, 2021, Ionescu recorded her first professional triple-double on May 18, 2021, scoring 26 points, 12 assists, and ten rebounds.

With the record, she successfully was the youngest player in WNBA history to record a triple-double.

Additionally, the lady player was named the winner of the Honda Sports Award as the best collegiate female basketball player in the nation on April 14, 2020.

Talking about her personal life, The Christian player is also very close friends with former teammate Ruthy Hebardwas.

Ionescu is in a love relationship with former Oregon football player Hroniss Grasu, a center at Las Vegas Raiders.

Also, she had one-on-one training sessions with Kobe Bryant. On February 24, 2020, Eddy's sister also spoke at the Kobe & Gianna Bryant Celebration of Life at the Staples Center.

Sabrina was the featured speaker at the memorial service for Kobe Bryant, with whom she became a close personal friend.

Both legendary players befriended within the previous two years, flying from Los Angeles to the Bay Area after her speech.
