Adam Rich Parents – What You Need To Know About His Family

Adam Rich‘s parents gave birth to the television star on October 12, 1968. 

The famous television series named Eight Is Enough’s youngest son, Nicholas Bradford, is played by the American Actor Adam Rich. 

Numerous parents at the time were inspired to give their children the same hairstyle as Adam Rich, which was a distinctive feature of his appearance throughout his period as an actor.

According to multiple reports, Adam Rich was found dead in his home in Los Angeles on Saturday. The American star passed away at the age of 54 with apparently no clues of any foul play involved.

Jay Duplass, a director and the actor Steven Rowley, the comedian John Fugelsang, Lydia Cornell, Todd Bridges, and John Fugelsang are among the famous figures that paid tribute to Adam Rich on media platforms.

Rich battled drug abuse throughout his career, which resulted in a close call that could cause his death in 1989 due to a Valium dose. 

About two years later, he was jailed for stealing from a drugstore. However, his “Eight Is Enough” co-actor, Van Patten, came to his rescue. 

Before being caught drunk driving back in 2002, Rich spent several years in recovery.

Who were Adam Rich’s Parents? 

Rich was raised as a child actor in a suburban neighborhood of Granada Hills, California, together with his younger brother. Adams was from a Jewish background.

Based on the 2011 collection of interviews titled “The Jewish Mothers’ Hall Of Fame,” Robert and Francine, also known as Fran, were young lovers. 

A few months after Adam was born, they relocated to California from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, where they had both attended high school.

Adam’s younger brother, Wayne, is 5 years younger than Adam. The mother of the boys revealed to Fred Bernstein that Wayne began his career in acting when he was six years old. 

Adams’ family was staying in Chatsworth, San Fernando Valley, at the time when Bernstein first interviewed them for his book. Rob, his father, admitted to his son that, initially, he had envied his son’s success in the acting industry.

However, Adam Rich’s father finally accepted his son’s achievement and could have even become closer as a result. Nevertheless, they made every effort to provide him with a “normal” childhood. 

He received the same stipend as his brother, and his father invested his money so he wouldn’t be able to waste it all by the time he turned 18.

Every day, Francine would drive her little son, who had just turned five, to the set. According to sources, Francine would always win in contests on the acting set of his son for being “helpful and polite.”

In addition to playing football, baseball, swimming, and skating, he also played various other sports. He also found joy in sketching.

Although Rich’s well-known performance is on “Eight Is Enough,” he also made appearances on several TV series and other TV movies in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
