Adrienna Bode's Women's Volleyball Recruiting Profile
Personal Statement
My ambition has always been to become a college level volleyball player. I have always been interested in the sport and have enjoyed playing it. From playing with friends to playing against rivalry schools volleyball has shaped me as a person and as an individual. In many ways volleyball has taught me how to handle stressful situations. For example, at the end of the day not everyone is a winner but you never give up, you push harder. Adding on, volleyball has taught me time management. I have learned how to maintain a 3.8 GPA while pushing my limits on the court. Nonetheless, I feel as if I grew the most as a student-athlete my junior year when my team and I had the opportunity to be conference champions. Although we fell short of this goal I learned that even after you lose you need to get back to the gym and work on the parts you fell short of.
I'm looking for a program that will fit me academically as well as athletically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on any program.
