Personal Statement

Hello.  My name is Alexandra Simpson and playing collegiate golf is a dream of mine and I hope to make it a reality!  Beyond that, I am looking for a community.  A community that will continue to foster my athletic, academic, social, and spiritual life!  One notable difference between me and some other players is sportsmanship.  I continue to dedicate myself to sportsmanlike conduct on and off the golf course, and I work hard each day to be the best version of myself.  Another virtue that I believe makes me a great candidate for collegiate golf is my determination.  Once I set a goal, I work very hard to achieve it.  I work to better my skills in practice and in play, as well as in school and my classes.  I pride myself on a great balance of academics and golf.  I want to attend a college that can help me better my performance.  I work hard in school, earning a 4.36/4.00 GPA, while taking take various honors, IB, and advanced classes for my grade.  I look forward to speaking with you about a collegiate golf opportunity where I can flourish!
