Brandon Jennings Announces Decision to Sign with New York Knicks | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Free-agent point guard Brandon Jennings was searching for a new home after spending his 2015-16 season with the Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic. He has decided to join the New York Knicks.

While it would be hard to trust the 26-year-old as a starting floor general, Jennings will slot in behind Derrick Rose on the depth chart, minimizing the risk for the Knicks.
Not only is Jennings still rounding into form after tearing his Achilles tendon in January 2015, but he's a career 39 percent shooter from the field who served as a net negative for Orlando's offense last season. Specifically, the Magic were 3.2 points better per 100 offensive possessions with Jennings on the bench.
Even though Jennings has never been an efficient off-the-bounce scorer, he can still knock down jumpers when the ball finds him within the flow of the offense. Last season, the former lottery pick converted 41.4 percent of his catch-and-shoot threes.
