Charles Gregory Leach – Metropolitan Funeral

Charles Gregory Leach, age 60, entered into eternity early Sunday morning, on May 24, 2020. A native of Norfolk, Virginia, hew was born to the late Deams Colden Leach II and Emma Lamb Leach. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Michael Leach and Deams Colden Leach III. Charles attended Norfolk Public Schools (Maury High). Charles was a private contractor for many years. He was gifted with an entrepreneurial spirit. Whenever given a job he mastered it. You could be confident that when Charles took on a job it would be done right.

He enjoyed the outdoors which included his favorite fishing. He also loved animals. Fishing and his love for animals gave him many hours of peace and joy.

The memory of Charles will linger in the hearts of his children, Carolyn Griffin, Palm Bay, FL and Antonio Griffin, Roanoke, VA; five sisters, Veretta Brown IJames Norfolk, VA, Sheila Haqq (Curtis) Chesapeake, VA, Jacquelyne Jones (David) Suffolk, VA, Carolyn Williams (Dwight) Beaufort, NC and Gracie Taylor (Ron) MD. He also leaves to mourn his five grandchildren, an aunt , and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
