Chicago ‘Duck Walk Killer,’ Who Terrorized Rogers Park, Isn’t Behind Serial Killings

Stockton police have now denied any connections between the Stockton serial killer investigation and Chicago’s “Duck Walk Killer” investigation.

It was previously reported that police in both states were investigating a possible link between the 2018 killings in Chicago and the recent serial killings in Stockton and Oakland.

Two men were killed just days apart in Northside Rogers Park in 2018 by Chicago’s “Duck Walk Killer.”

According to the Stockton Police Department, they informally contacted a number of law enforcement agencies across the country and in California throughout the investigation.

Due to the suspect’s unique stride, the Chicago Police Department named him the Duck Walk Killer. Following the release of a video of the suspect, Stockton Police said they performed their due diligence by reaching out to the suspect.

“At this time though, we do not have anything linking the two investigations,” said Stockton Police spokesperson Joe Silva.

As a result of ABC10’s inquiry, the Chicago Police Department provided this statement:

“We are aware of the Stockton Police Department investigations and are in contact with their detectives. At this time, we do not believe there is a link in these investigations.”

In spite of the continuous police investigation, the murders are still unsolved.
