Cooper Williams's Wrestling Recruiting Profile
Personal Statement
My name is Cooper Williams, and I am entering my Sophomore year (Class of 2026) at Castle Rock High School in Castle Rock, Washington. I have a 3.65 grade point average and am active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Student Leadership. I also volunteer as a coach and referee for the local youth wrestling team. My goal is to use wrestling as a pathway to college where I intend to study Sports Medicine and pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
I have played football, baseball, and wrestled since I was 6 years old and began club/tournament wrestling when I was 9. I endured many losses early in my career; however, those experiences taught me humility, grace, and persistence while motivating me to train harder and learn more. Over the years, I have been blessed with many great coaches and training partners from around the state. I believe this has made me a more rounded wrestler and has helped me to build confidence by training in different environments.
