DeShawn Ray Whitaker – Metropolitan Funeral

On Friday, December 2, 2022, DeShawn Ray Whitaker departed this earthly life and gained his wings. DeShawn was born September 27, 1994 to Jennifer Skinner and the late Calvin Brooks.   DeShawn had a smile that lit up the room and loved to laugh. DeShawn also was kind. DeShawn has left such an impact on so many other lives and will be truly missed.  DeShawn leaves to cherish his memories: son, DeShawn Ray Whitaker, Jr.; mother, Jennifer Skinner; three brothers: Larry Whitaker (Elisa), Calvin Whitaker (Jasmine) and Isaac Whitaker; two sisters: Latonya Wilson and Angel Whitaker; three uncles, two aunts, two nephews, and three nieces; with a host of many cousins and other relatives and plenty friends.
