Draymond Green Blasts Reporter Who Compared Warriors to Houston Floods | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green has no tolerance for certain types of questions in his postgame press conferences.

Following the Warriors' 121-94 Game 4 win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday, a reporter started to ask Green about a connection between Golden State's performance and flooding in the Houston area. The 2016 All-Star didn't hesitate to openly blast the reporter's perceived intentions, courtesy of Joe Farris on YouTube:

On Tuesday, Henry Wofford of CSN Bay Area reported that the reporter was fired roughly one hour after Green's press conference.

According to CNN's Ray Sanchez, at least eight people died as a result of heavy rainfall and flooding in and around Houston. Green, collaborating with The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears for a playoff diary, addressed the situation April 18:

I have been following what has been going on in Houston, and it's very sad seeing that people have been losing their cars and their homes are damaged. I heard a couple of lives have been lost. That is tough. I am not sure what the problem is. I am not sure if their [draining] system is not right. Hopefully, it's something they can get corrected pretty soon.

Apparently, this wasn't the first time the reporter broached the subject with Green. The Warriors play-maker was well within his rights to dismiss the line of questioning.

Golden State is one victory from closing out the first-round series. Game 5 is set for Wednesday night in Oakland, California.
