Earl Watson has been operating as the Phoenix Suns' interim head coach since the team canned Jeff Hornacek on Feb. 1, and Phoenix is reportedly set to bring Watson back in a full-time capacity.
Jude LaCava of Fox 10, citing "sources inside the Suns," reported Watson will have the interim tag removed and be the franchise's next head coach.
On April 7, the Arizona Republic's Paul Coro reported that "many also feel that [Watson] is very much in the running to return at the helm."

The Suns struggled all season long, but the team does have an attractive foundation in place. With Brandon Knight, Eric Bledsoe and Devin Booker comprising one of the league's most talented young backcourts, Phoenix is a few pieces away from resembling an intriguing upstart club.
