Personal Statement

My name is Erin Sparks and I have been playing hockey since I was 5 years old. I have been playing goalie since I was 7 and I couldn't imagine playing another position. Since I was little I always told people that one day I was going to be in the NHL, but playing in college is the first step towards that dream. I love playing on a team and I am a great team player, I help those who need it, I am very coachable, and I recognize my mistakes and fix them. I strive to be the best I can in everything I do, on ice and in school. I maintain a high GPA and I love to learn, whether it is Math, English, or a new form, I am always eager to discover new things. I strongly hope that you will give me the opportunity to play in your program and show my passion for the game and the eagerness to succeed in everything I do.
