Ethan Barnes-Felix's Football Recruiting Profile
Personal Statement
Dear potential football college coaches and recruiters,
My name is Ethan Barnes-Felix from North Reading, Massachusetts. I recently transferred to St. John's Prep in Danvers, Massachusetts from North Reading High School in the Fall of 2020. I graduate in the year 2022. I am a good student with a current gpa of 3.4 with room for improvement. I have two siblings, Chadem is my older brother and Madelyn is my younger sister. Both whom are very important to my daily life and future aspirations.
With my personal statement, I would like to showcase my integrity, respect and demeanor. All in which I believe are defining contributions to any team and program, but especially for football.
Integrity is everything to me. I hold a high regard for ones who can have true integrity, even when in the most difficult circumstances. Whether on a team, in the classroom, with friends.......I pride myself on having integrity and those I associate with to have integrity as well.
Respect goes both ways. So do first impressions. It's important for me to have respect for others. It's also important for me to earn the respect of others.
The definition of demeanor is ones outward behavior or bearing. My demeanor is pretty transparent and consistent. A positive outlook and attitude, anxious and excited for opportunities, typical nerves but exemplary sportsmanship and effort. My drive athletically, can be contagious, but will never allow a teammate to finish last alone.
Aspirations are funny thing! They can swiftly change based on many things. However, one aspiration of mine that has been the staple in my daily life is to play football. To have the opportunity to be coached, to have the opportunity to keep improving, to have the opportunity to play football. In ending, I aspire for greatness in all that I do.
Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you in the near future.
