Former Baylor coach Art Briles has been hired as an offensive assistant with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.

Briles will serve on the staff of former college and NFL coach June Jones.

Briles was fired by Baylor last year amid a sexual assault scandal involving his players. School officials say that investigation found at least 17 women who reported being sexually assaulted by 19 football players, but one lawsuit claiming Baylor fostered a “culture of sexual violence” puts the number at more than 50 acts of rape over a four-year period.
