Gemma Collins’ funniest moments are endless. As she turns 43, we need to thank her for making us cry laugh when she feuded with Tiffany Pollard and claimed she’s claustrophobic on Big Brother.
The 43-year-old former TOWIE star has become the ultimate reality TV queen. “I’m claustrophobic, Darren!” is one example, as those famous words by Gemma Collins simply won’t leave our memory.
Gemma’s funniest moment – ‘I’m claustrophobic, Darren’
In 2016, Celebrity Big Brother‘s Gemma shouted at Darren Day in the bedroom when she panicked about being cooped up in a cage. She screamed: “They don’t get it, I’m claustrophobic!”
The GC had “enough of playing games” as it was, and “just wanted her life back.” She broke down in the Diary Room, saying she didn’t want to take part “just to win a bit of smoked salmon”.

Gemma’s gift to Tiffany Pollard
When it was Tiffany Pollard’s birthday, Gemma gifted her Dolce and Gabbana shoes. The drama that was created after this gesture went wild, as Tiffany used the C-word in a Diary Room rant about her co-star.
Tiffany said: “Pretty much I would let Gemma know that she is a fat c*** and, um, the shoes that she gave me were not something that I would particularly buy for myself.”
Gemma, go get your shoes back…
Setting those candy boundaries
Throwback to The Only Way is Marbs, when Gemma said another one of her iconic catchphrases: “You ain’t ever going to get this candy.” She came up with the incredible line during her showdown with Arg.
Collins warned now-ex James Argent: “Don’t ever disrespect a girl like that again. I don’t like the way you turn around and say, ‘Oh, she’s got a pretty face.’ I am sexy and I know it.”
He accused her of cheating on her two exes with him, to which Gemma shut him down and said: “I never cheated, James. Cheating is sleeping with someone.” She also claims he asked her for intimacy…
My hair is frazzled
Gemma was not happy about the lack of heater rollers on CBB.
“This is very expensive hair, it’s frazzled because you’ve only got straighteners in here, you haven’t got rollers,” she told the cameras.
“You can pay for me to have new extensions, why don’t you think of getting heated rollers in here?” she added. At one point, The GC even sacrificed having hot water for beauty – so she could get a blow dry!

It’s through to the bone
We’ve all been there. Gemma tried to treat her Big Brother co-stars by making them a meal but ended up slicing her finger with a knife. As her fellow housemates consoled her, she held a cloth over her hand.
Ever the dramatic queen, she said it’s through to the “bone” and even asked if she was going to die. If there was an award for the biggest diva yet, we think Gemma could be in the running to win.
Gemma doesn’t need no money
Gemma had quite literally had enough of the Big Brother Tasks, asking, “Do you think these c***s are gonna pay my mortgage? I’ve got money!” She threatened going home and leaving the series for good.
She may have enough cash but had earlier confided in Tiffany Pollard that she “just wants a rich man to look after her and to have kids with.” Regardless, Gemma was adamant she “doesn’t need the money”.
