Hallmark Star Steve Byers Wife Jennifer Steede Is An Actress

Steve and Jennifer got married in 2001 after a few years of dating.

One of their mutual friends played cupid and set them up one night. Consequently, it turned out that they had a kind of mutual attraction.

Steve used to be a shy guy back then. According to him, he would never have approached her otherwise. 

Moreover, Byers was the one who proposed for the first time. He wore a garage sale tux gifted by his mom. The actor then waited for Jennifer to return from work and find a bow which he left in a jar of jewelry polish.

When Steede asked Steve about the surprise, he stepped out in all ruffled glory and proposed to her.

The couple got married in Las Vegas in a themeless wedding.

It was a planned elopement wedding at the Little Chapel of Flowers. Their friends had been to Las Vegas, and they, too, got invited.

Steve and his wife were actually in Las Vegas in response to an invitation from their friends. However, as they were going to Vegas, the two decided that the only natural thing was to get married. 

During an interview, Steve mentioned that he was incredibly proud of Steede.
