Hugo Warren Grant, Jr. – Metropolitan Funeral

Hugo Warren Grant, Jr was born February 20, 1955 to the late Mr. Hugo W. Grant, Sr and Ms. Louise Hilton. He transitioned on Saturday March 25, 2023, at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center to be with the Lord.

Hugo attended S.H. Clarke Jr. High School, and later enlisted in the United States Army. He served from 1973 to 1976. Hugo served a tour of duty in Vietnam, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

He was a member of Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Allen R. McFarland.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his son Antonio Sherrod (Patrice), granddaughter, Tonae Sherrod, grandson Antonio Sherrod, Jr. Brothers, David L. Grant (Trisha), Clifton K. Grant (Rosetta). Sisters Paulette F. Bulter (Huley), Angelo L. Hicks (Jerry) of Md; Cynthia T. Grant, Marjorie L. Grant, Cecilia Grant and Unique Grant.

Aunt, Mary E. McCoy, uncles Willie T. McCoy, Conrad McCoy and Winston S. McCoy. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Special friends Kevin Llanos and Lakendra Llanos.

Hugo is preceded in death by his father Hugo W. Grant, Sr., mother Louise Hilton, sister Faline L. Colden, brother Junious L. Wooden and paternal grandmother Elizabeth. McCoy.
