Personal Statement

My name is Hunter Spencer and I am a 5’8’’ Varsity golfer at Blue Earth Area High School. My dad got me interested in golf when we were at a golf shop and he asked me if I wanted to swing a club, I was hooked! I am currently taking lessons from a Professional Swing Coach. I made Varsity my 8th grade year. Towards the end of my 8th grade season I improved my spot on the Varsity team. I have learned many things in golf and some of the key ones are, that some days can be great and rewarding, but also some can be a learning experience. In golf no matter what, it comes down to putting at the end of the day. My academic goals for high school are to get a 3.8-4.0 GPA, an ACT score of 26-30, and an SAT score of 1750-1960. For college, I would like to become a professional golfer, but as well get a degree in engineering.
