Isaac Mizrahi, the American fashion designer, has a net worth of $20 million dollars. In 1987, he presented his first fashion collection at a trunk show held by Bergdorf Goodman, which was well received and prompted orders from top retailers. His original intent was to appeal to a refined and exclusive clientele.
French fashion house Chanel bought a stake in his company in 1992 and bankrolled Mizrahi’s operation. Over the years, his inconsistent ‘look’ when rolling out new fashions for each season worked against him and he experienced peaks and valleys in his sales track record.
