Personal Statement

I love softball even though I've only played for two seasons (2nd season I only played 4 games since I injured my knee) and I'm deciding whether I should play during college or focus on trying to become a cardio-thoracic surgeon as that has always been my dream. I know that if I'm presented with a softball opportunity for College/ Uni, I will 100% commit to that opportunity because I would not want to pass out on something so amazing and something I am really passionate about. I've played most of infield except pitcher and short-stop, I've also played Right field. I played those positions at times when others needed a sub though I had no clue what the position needed or what to expect from the position yet I still pulled through. I would say I play right field, 1st base, and catcher better than any other position since those are my 3 main ones (started in right, moved to first, put as catcher in my 2nd season). If I had to choose one position to play for college, it would be first base, but I am/ was the starting catcher before I injured myself!
