Personal Statement

I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. Ever since I’ve started I’ve had dreams of becoming a college basketball player.

I have strong defensive skills, good finishing around the rim, and high basketball IQ. I am a team leader and help to do whatever it takes to help me and my teammates. I am very coachable and listen to everything my coaches have to say and apply it to my game. I strive to be one of the hardest working players you will find.

I work hard year-round on my basketball skills, playing high school basketball and AAU basketball. I also participate in Track and lifting in the weight room, which all contribute to my athleticism. 

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom as well as on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to find the right match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to my peers, the community and make my parents proud.
