Joyce Christine Jordan – Metropolitan Funeral

We knew you were an angel here on earth amongst us and you would have to return home but, we didn’t know you would leave us so soon. On Monday April 10th, 2023, Joyce Christine Jordan, 66 years of age, closed her eyes for the last time and returned home peacefully in her sleep.

Joyce was born August 16, 1956 in Norfolk Virginia to the late Sophia Green and George Parnell.

Joyce had the personality that would light up the darkest room, and the wisdom to get anyone through the darkest times. Joyce grew to be a guardian angel to many because the love she was able to give was one of a kind.

She was preceded in death by her life time partner John Timothy Patterson; godparents; JoAnne and Clifton Hathaway; her brothers; Jesse Lee Jordan Jr, George Greenleaf Jordan, and Leroy L. Jordan. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters Tasha Jordan, Daysha Hawkins and two sons Darnell Jordan and Brian Jordan Jr. Three Sisters, Ida Fentress, Alicinda Shields, and Lenora Miller. Three Special nephews Kenneth Fentress, Orlando Speda, Deangelo Butts. Four grandchildren Sydney Jordan Aundre Jordan Zion Hawkins Timothy Jordan and a host of nieces nephews family and friends.
