Personal Statement

My goal is to become the best tennis player I can and additionally the best person I possibly can be. I hope to play a high level of college tennis whilst at the same time achieving a degree to the utmost of my ability.   I plan to study engineering and eventually specialise in environmental engineering.

I believe college tennis is a great path for me to go down as it will allow me to follow my sporting and academic dreams, and also to grow as a person.

My last two years of high school was spent at Saint Kentigern College in Auckland, New Zealand.  At SKC I was part of the tennis academy, the Head Coach being Peter Langsford, former Davis Cup player and ASB classic doubles finalist.  Here I was dedicated in the preparation for a US tennis college future, both in the academic field and in tennis.

Having graduated high school in 2020 at the age of 17 years and 7 months old I am currently playing tennis and training in the gym daily.

Throughout my years of playing tennis, the development of my mental aspect, work ethic and leadership skills has drastically improved. I have learned that if you believe in yourself and never give up, anything is possible, both on and off the court.  Through these strong foundations I have built on, I feel I can contribute in a positive way to your team and college life in general, be a leader and achieve.

Playing, competing and studying to the highest level possible with you would be an honour and privilege. You can be assured that I will consistently give everything my best and be a proud representative of your college.
