Kim Kardashian has joined The Fifth Wheel, Netflix’s new all-female comedy. Married couple Paula Pell from SNL and Sisters and Girls5eva’s writer Janine Brito are the women behind the show. Kim will be producing and starring in the show, which was approved by Netflix, beating strong competition.
She’s had her taste of acting in American Horror Story, despite getting major imposter syndrome. Kim Kardashian barely remembered her SKIMS pop-up due to fatigue from learning lines for AHS. However, she’s now picked up a new project, having admitted to her mom Kris Jenner that she hates saying no.

Kim Kardashian will be heavily involved in her role as a producer and plans to use her influencer status to promote The Fifth Wheel, a new Netflix comedy featuring an all-female ensemble.
Despite strong competition, the streaming platform signed a contract with the show. It marks one of the first major sales following the historic SAG-AFTRA strike, which was settled earlier in November.
The logline is under wraps currently but Kim will be playing the fifth wheel character. One fan wrote, “Thrilled to see Kim Kardashian bringing her star power to the comedy scene!”
She reunites with SNL’s Paula Pell
Paula Pell wrote the sketches for Saturday Night Live until 2020, but stopped just a year before Kim appeared on the popular show. During Kim’s time there, she and Pete Davidson got their flirt on!
She also wrote the comedy Sisters, starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and is an actress herself. She stars in the Peacock series Girls5eva, written by her wife on The Fifth Wheel, and Netflix’s Wine Country.
The Fifth Wheel marks the first major screenwriting credit for Janine Brito, Pell’s wife who also acted as her spouse on Girls5eva. Fans appear to be super excited about the collaboration!

Kris Jenner gave Kim a warning
Kris sat her daughter down to warn her that she’s “going to burn out” if she continues. When Kim said she say no to one person, she added that they stopped speaking to her, and Kris applauded them.
She joked, “Thank god, write them a thank you note,” but seriously added that it “scares her that Kim doesn’t see what she sees.” Kris has been her children’s momager since they became famous.
It comes after Kim suffered from brain fog due to exhaustion, to which she didn’t remember any of her SKIMS pop-up and even slept in past her alarm, which she admits she never does.
