Thompson Comments on Injury

Tuesday, Dec. 8

"Luckily it's not a bad sprain," Thompson said, per ESPN.com's Ethan Strauss

NBA.com passed along video of the injury, which occurred after he had amassed a season-high 39 points and drilled 10 threes:

After the game, Bleacher Report's Kevin Ding noted Thompson was limping but walking under his own power.

Thompson Suffers Second Injury of 2015-16 Season

Thompson battled a back injury early in the season, but it didn't prove to be too debilitating. The fifth-year shooting maestro missed just one game before returning as the Warriors got their 2015-16 campaign off to a record-setting start.

Assuming this proves to be another minor ailment, the Warriors should be able to withstand it without a hitch.

Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry has shouldered the offensive load with prolific shooting displays and brilliant pick-and-roll execution, and Golden State has plenty of depth to plug a void on the wing.
