Lauren Richardson was a Love Island series 1 contestant, ending her launch into fame in third place with Josh Ritchie. He’s now returning to the All Stars spin-off to find love. Although Josh has stayed in the limelight since the original season, Lauren decided to stay away from the world of reality TV.
A shock bombshell revealed Charlotte Crosby‘s ex, Josh Ritchie, is getting ready to turn heads in the villa. He’s making his way back to Love Island many seasons since he got his flirt going on the ITV show. Josh claims he “always gets what he wants” but his return reminded us all of his ex, Lauren Richardson.
Josh Ritchie returns from Love Island series 1
Josh Ritchie from Love Island series 1 is officially back to steal your girl. He was coupled up with Lauren Richardson for most of his time in the villa and later dated Charlotte Crosby.
He is also known for his appearance on Celebs Go Dating. Fans were shook at the bombshell reveal on the January 17 episode, saying his return is “iconic,” with many realising he’ll be reunited with Luis. Hannah Elizabeth on Love Island: All Stars will also be seeing her former co-star again.
Most viewers have guessed he’ll be going for Molly, who is coupled up with ex Callum but recently kissed Chris Taylor.
Lauren and Josh left villa as friends
Lauren Richardson and Josh Ritchie left Love Island series 1 in third place. The pair coupled up at the very start of the show before uncoupling for the following weeks, and getting back together before the finale.
They ‘split up’ after leaving the villa, but were never together, branding themselves as a “friendship” couple. During their time on the ITV show, Lauren ended up re-coupling with Chris W and Luis.
The big sister/little bro double act won over the nation, even when Josh did briefly enjoy a rather handsy stint with Jess. Before entering Love Island, Lauren worked as a community sports officer.

Lauren has kept herself away from the limelight and looks incredibly different. She also has 45K followers on a private Twitter account which allows her OG fans to stay updated.
She now works as a PE teacher. Lauren kept a low profile on social media for years but nowadays she posts health and wellness tips and shows off her progress at the gym.
Lauren currently works with wellness brand Herbalife Nutrition and still has “OG Series 1” in her Instagram bio following her Love Island appearance in 2015. She has 78K followers on the platform.
