Personal Statement

I aspire for both acedemic excellence and athletic achievement in high school, and I plan to continue to exhibit these characteristics in college as I pursue a career as well as athletics. I have been a devoted soccer player since age six, running around the sports complex with my friends, racing to beat the other team to the ball . Twelve years later, I am working harder than ever on my High School's Varsity girls team, as a captain and a starting center back. I have been an All-Distric player, an All-Conference player, and I was also voted MVP by my teamates last year. I started as a defender on varsity my freshman year, and I have played year round on travel and indoor teams to keep my foot constantly on the ball and my touches more and more accurate. I love the sport, and I can't get enough of it, which has spurred my dream to play soccer in college. I give 100% on the field, and in the classroom. I currently have a 4.13 GPA, and I seated 8th in my class, my schedule saturated with AP classes. Although I am undecided in a career, I am enthusiastic about furthering my education and discovering a degree that is right for me.
