Marietta man accused of pouring boiling liquid on dog, causing severe burns
MARIETTA, Ga. — A man has been charged with allegedly pouring hot liquid from an electric kettle onto a dog’s back at a home on E. Lake Drive in Marietta, according to Cobb County warrants.
Justin Michael Crandall allegedly poured the boiling liquid across the back and side of the dog – a white and brown mix named Anastasia. She lost fur and skin after the abuse, which caused significant disfigurement, the warrant stated.
Police said the accused abuse happened June 3, 2018.
