Little People, Big World’s highly anticipated season 25 is officially here. Matt, Amy, Zach, Tori Roloff, Caryn Chandler, and Chris Marek are all back for a brand new series on TLC this February. The season premiere reveals some fresh details about Matt’s farm and he gives fans more updates on social media.
After 25 seasons, the Roloff family isn’t running out of dramatic storylines. The TLC stars dealt with the potential selling of Roloff Farms last season. Now, it’s been decided Matt is keeping part of the farm and he’s building his own new home on the land. Some Little People, Big World fans questioned why he wouldn’t continue living in the existing home on the property. Now, the reality TV star responded with his reasons.
Matt Roloff shares farm update
Taking to Instagram in January, Matt shared how he’s building a new house on Roloff Farms.
The TLC star admired the paneling he and Caryn appear to have opted for on the property.
Captioning the video, Matt wrote more updates would be coming later in the year: “Hi everyone… soon i’ll take a bunch of new photos to show you our new house here on the farm.. but in the meantime check out this amazing low maintenance siding accent we used.”
Some fans took to the comments to ask Matt why he’s building a brand new house instead of living in the old one.
He simply responded: “…needed a home from the ground up that met all my accessibility needs.”

He’ll leave it to Amy
Despite getting a divorce in 2016 Amy and Matt Roloff have done well at remaining friends on Little People, Big World.
The two spent 27 years married and now they both have new partners who appear alongside them on the show.
It’s one thing to co-parent well, but Matt takes things to new levels during season 25 when he shares some news with Chris and Amy.
Caryn and Matt explain if he were to pass away, he’s decided he’ll leave whatever part of the farm he owns to Amy.
Visibly shocked, Amy says: “I don’t even know how to comment on that. What? That’s crazy.”
Matt, who has a net worth of $6 million per Celebrity Net Worth, adds: “…otherwise it’s too complicated.”
His fiancé says in a confessional it was actually her idea. Caryn explains: “…Your family, the first part of your life built and worked for this far. I don’t ever want to take away from the family that built it…”
