Sixteen-year-old Maria Andreeva dominated three-time Grand Slam singles finalist and No. 6 seed Ons Jabeur in the third round of the Australian Open thanks to a 6-0, 6-2 straight-set win that took just 54 minutes.

It was a tough day for Jabeur, who committed 24 unforced errors and won only 4-of-26 first-return points.

Meanwhile, Andreeva took advantage of her opportunities (5-of-7 break points) and dominated when serving, winning 30-of-40 points.

It was a sensational effort from a rising star, who is playing in her fourth-ever major and first Australian Open. She's impressed in her Grand Slam results thus far, notably reaching the fourth round of Wimbledon last year. This Australian Open marks the third time she's reached the third round of a major as well.

Jabeur was asking way too much of herself to come into AO without any matches. That said, Andreeva was outstanding. The depth on her high margin ground strokes, ability to hit behind Ons, free points on serve. Her movement made it so hard for Ons to inflict any damage whatsoever.
