Golden State is still a game and a half behind the Los Angeles Lakers, who are in ninth place, but created some separation from the 11th-seeded Houston Rockets, who lost to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

As the season's end nears, the Warriors are looking to string together a late push to improve their playoff seeding. A win on the road Sunday helped that push.
