New Characters of Despicable Me 2

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - New characters are involved in the actions of Gru, his three step children and his minions in Despicable Me 2.  Lucy Wilde, Edoardo/El-Macho, and Antonio are three of the several new characters.

Lucy Wilde

Lucy Wilde is an agent of Anti-Villain League (AVL). She is deployed to recruit Gru after his retirement from being a villain. Lucy admires Gru for his amazing action of stealing the moon (in Despicable Me 1). Their first meeting is an enjoyable action since each of them has the ability to defend and attack enemies of their own styles. Gru is then involved in AVL's mission to reveal the stolen chemical potion which can be used to turn everything into a killer machine. During the mission, Gru suspects the returns of El-Macho, a great villain who was reported dead but whose body has never been found. Lucy brings new colors into Gru's life, and they fell in love.

Eduardo/El-Macho

Eduardo/El-Macho replaces Vector's role as the competitor for Gru's villain actions. Physically, Eduardo is a big fat man. Eduardo has a crazy mission: to steal the Minions and mutate them into purple colored soldiers that have a killing machine ability. Benjamin Bratt is the voice behind this figure.

Antonio

The young Latino boy has successfully grabbed the teenage Margo Gru's attention. Margo falls in love with Antonio from the first sight. Antonio is a flamboyant boy who always wears black jacket and shoes. He also wears a t-shirt with Z letter and blue jeans. Antonio often wears his shawl as if he wears a tie. Antonio is the son of Eduardo. In the end of the story, Margo understands why his stepfather has always tried to keep her from Antonio.
