Personal Statement

My name is Olivia Terry, and I have two passions in life one is making the world a better place through acts of kindness and furthering my education. I currently participate in a multitude of events with in my community that assist others or just the community in general such as community cleanup days, fundraisers and volunteering at youth soccer camps. As for education I am currently a high school Junior at Dixon High School with a  4.2 GPA and I am ranked 13th in my class.  

 Encapsulated in those two passions their is a huge love for the sports of soccer and tennis.  I am currently the Captain of the varsity soccer team.  I have also been awarded All Region and All Conference this year, while being the leading goal scorer on my team and runner up in assists. When I am not busy at practice with my team and school you can find me at my local complex working on my passing, shooting, drills, speed, and agility.  I am constantly pushing myself to be better and do better.  As my teams Captain they only deserve the best.   I take to my captains role very seriously as I know the honor and privilege it holds.  My team looks to me for guidance and leadership and I do not take that lightly.  I love my team mates and I love my sport and the more time I get to spend on the field the happier my heart and mind are.
