Personal Statement

My name is Paul Davis, I am currently 6'5 and 195lbs. I am currently a student athlete at Curtis Senior High in University Place, Washington. My skills personally I am a strong all-around player. Ive engraved the saying that, "there is always someone out there in the world working twice as harder than me". I believe that doing what I am capable of, there is always that extra push that is able to be used, and thats what i do in every workout, every game, everyday of my life. I do what I am told from the coaches, plus am able to do what I require from myself for the bettermin of the team to put us in that position to win games. I am not the captain but I take plenty of the leadership of my team and am willing to take leadership in the times of help to not just be a role model for the team, but as well better me. I love getting my teammates involved to win games, so you can say assist i am all for it. Even in practice I tell them to give it all and dont give up. My characteristics is straight-foward, just do it type. i will give my team the model and example of a 500% player so they can do it in practice so that when it comes to that time of the game where you need it the most, it will be natural to go all out. When it comes to college schoolwise,i would like to stay in the state or states next to it. Mainly i dont want to be far away from my home where i am confortable. my family has been through alot and financially we are not all the way there, so i would love to be there if anything is to occur. My desired majors would be mainly Mathematics or philosophy. I have always loved math and I would be happy to recieve a major in that. My realistic goals would be just to do the best i can do, it sounds pretty easy and simple, but when it comes to the people that look up to me and expect alot that is on the next level and above, I won't and can't let them down.
