Peyton's father Andrew Tinpo Lee is a Chinese-American actor who is known for the role of Mr. Hsiao in the series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.
Lee was born in Castries, Saint Lucia on 31 May 1968. At the age of one, he with his family members moved to the United States of America.
He studied acting and writing at the University of California, Los Angeles after completing his formal studies. Following his passion for acting he dedicated his full time to the entertainment field.
He shifted to New York City and started working as both an actor and a copywriter after graduating with a bachelor's degree in English literature.
In 2001, he had his first acting role in the short film titled In the Eye where he played Richard. Since this, he has been in many shows including General Hospital, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Kidding, Five Points, and Criminal Minds. IMBd has credited him with 44 credits as an actor.

Peyton's mother Jennifer is a licensed clinical psychologist. Before this Jennifer worked at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders as a Senior Psychologist.
Mostly, she is recognized as a member of a celebrity family. She was born on 29 December 1969 in the United States of America.
She holds a degree of Bachelor of Arts, and Journalism from Colorado State University. Similarly, she has a degree of Master of Arts, Developmental and Child Psychology from Columbia University. For her Ph.D., she joined Yeshiva University from where she graduated in 2005 with a degree in Clinical Psychology.
Throughout her career, she has worked at Bellevue Hospital as a Psychology intern. For two years she served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at New York State Psychiatric Institute.
Jennifer also has experience of having worked at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders as a senior psychologist.
