Everton have agreed a deal to sign striker Braiden Graham, 16, from Northern Irish club Linfield.
Everton staved off interest from multiple clubs for the teenager's signature — Brighton were among those chasing a deal — with the teenager set to complete the move at the end of the campaign.
Graham became Linfield's youngest ever player in March when he made his first-team debut against Dungannon Swifts in the Irish Premiership, aged 15 years and 137 days.
Speaking after that match, Linfield boss and Northern Ireland's all-time record international goalscorer David Healy said of Graham: "He's got all the tools, all the attributes, but we'll not be getting carried away — he has got a long, tough road ahead of him.
"He brings goals, he brings energy. I've seen Braiden for the last three years or so in and around the academy — he stepped up to under-18s, he's playing under-20s, against real physical specimens in some of the teams he is playing against.
"He's brave and he's 'goals, goals, goals', he prowls in and around and he's a deadly finisher."
Graham is the latest in a long line of Linfield youth-team graduates to secure a high-profile transfer, with a host of Northern Ireland internationals have progressed through their youth system in recent seasons.
Sunderland defender Trai Hume, West Ham forward Callum Marshall, Rangers winger Ross McCausland, Queens Park Rangers winger Paul Smyth and Dale Taylor — on loan at Burton Albion from Nottingham Forest — all came through the ranks at the south Belfast club.
