The Jets must land the perfect offensive lineman for their offensive philosophy if they go that direction at No. 10.

Oregon State's Taliese Fuaga and Penn State's Olu Fashanu are the most likely offensive tackle prospects available to the AFC East side.

Fauga grades as a better run blocker, while Fashanu is the better pass blocker.

Pro Football Focus noted that it gave Fuaga a 90.3 run-blocking grade, which was four points higher than any other college football tackle.

The Jets will run the ball a good amount with Breece Hall, but if Rodgers is healthy, they need linemen who excel in pass protection.

Fashanu excels in pass protection, as PFF noted in the site's latest mock draft.

"While Olu Fashanu isn't the strongest run blocker, you'd be hard-pressed to find too many tackles as promising as him in pass protection. His 84.4 grade on true pass sets since 2022 ranked in the 93rd percentile among FBS tackles."

The Jets should value pass protection over run blocking, and if both offensive linemen are there at No. 10, Fashanu should be the pick because of that.
