Who is Quinton Simon? 

According to the police, his mother reported 20-month-old Quinton Simon missing on October 5th.

On Buckhalter Road in Savannah, he shared a home with his mother, her boyfriend, his grandparents, and two other kids. The biological father of the boy resided elsewhere.

At around 6 a.m. on that day, Quinton was last seen at a residence in the 500 block of Buckhalter Road. His mother, Lelani Simon, reported him missing at around 9 a.m.

Although original reports stated Quinton had wandered out, the child’s 22-year-old mother informed authorities her son was playing in a playpen when he was last seen, according to CNN.

When And Who Reported Quinton Simon Missing?

When Simon’s mother woke up on October 5th, she dialed 911 and reported her son missing. Around 9:40 in the morning, he was reported missing.

According to Chatham County Police Chief Jeff Hadley, the mother informed the police that the boy had been in his playpen before she realized he was missing. The youngster was last seen at 6 a.m., according to the police.

The boy, according to the police, was dressed in black jeans and a Sesame Street T-shirt. Investigators expressed their “serious concern” for the boy’s safety at the time.

A tracking dog and a helicopter were used while police and volunteers in Savannah combed the neighborhood. Several roadways were also closed. The following day, it was requested that the FBI join the hunt.

Investigators Now Tend To Believe That Quinton Simon Died

The FBI and detectives have informed Quinton Simon’s family, according to the Chatham County Police Department, that they suspect the toddler is deceased.

When the report was made, the toddler had been missing for almost a week.

When determining the boy was deceased, the investigators did not clearly explain their reasoning.

On the police department’s official Facebook page, a post read, “We know that thousands of people throughout the world will be grieved by this news, and we share your pain.”

Who is the main suspect in the death and disappearance of Quinton Simon?

Leilani Simon, Quinton Simon’s mother, was designated as the main suspect in both his disappearance and death by police.

Police declared her a suspect even though no one had been arrested and no charges had been brought. Chief Hadley stated that he does not think Simon poses a flight danger on Thursday morning.

When the boy went missing, the boy’s biological father was called, but the police stated they didn’t think he was involved.
