RHOM ladies go to church

During The Real Housewives of Miami season 6 episode 14, the cast members get together for a special outing.

Speaking in a confessional, Alexia Nepola says: “I’m taking the ladies today to visit the Virgin of Guadalupe. She’s Jesus’ mother. She is celebrated throughout Latin America. She represents you being able to conquer any difficult situation in your life.”

Julia Lemigova explains she doesn’t go to church herself. She said she “separated herself from religion 23 years ago.”

Expanding on the reason, Julia said she “lost her son.”

Julia tragically lost her son

Two years ago on RHOM, Julia broke down on screen explaining how she “lost her son on her watch.”

Through tears, the Bravo star told her co-stars the painful story of her utterly tragic loss.

She said: “I was looking for a nanny, and I got a phone call from a qualified nurse. And she sounded wonderful on paper. Eight days later Maximilian went into a coma because of shaken baby syndrome.”

Julia added she’ll “blame herself for the rest of her life.”

‘I got more grief and pain’

In a confessional, the former model explained she “went to church. But, didn’t get any answers.”

She adds in her case, she endured “more grief and pain,” by going.

The reality TV star said she doesn’t find it “easy” to “walk into a church.”

However, she attends Catedral Metropolitana with the rest of the RHOM ladies during the episode, saying she “knows how much it means to Alexia” to go.

Julia said she wanted to support her friends, adding: “I don’t want to make it about myself.”

Fans were “heartbroken” to hear of the Real Housewives star’s past. Many took to X (Twitter) to share their thoughts on the episode: “Julia is such a beautiful person. I had no idea about her son. You never know what people have been through.”

The 51-year-old writes on Instagram she’s a “mom and animal lover” and it appears she enjoys the simplicities of farm life these days.

Taking to the ‘gram in January, she said she and partner Martina Navratilova had an “empty nest again,” as their daughter, Victoria, posed between the two of them.

Martina and Julia are parents to two daughters, Victoria and Emma.
