Rener Gracie is a 3rd degree black belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and head instructor at the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy. With a net worth of $5 million, he is also a co-creator of Gracie University, the world’s largest online jiu-jitsu training program. Gracie was born in Torrance, California in 1983 and is the grandson of Grand Master Helio Gracie, the creator of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. He started his training as a toddler and earned his black belt at the age of 19.
Rorion Gracie, Rener’s father, introduced Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to the world by co-creating the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Rener and his brother Ryron contributed to jiu-jitsu’s expansion by making the art available online through Gracie University.
