Shannon Chan-Kent's husband, Jeremy Schutze, inspired her from being a voice-over artist to pursuing an acting career. The couple seems to help each other for mutual growth in show business. 

Jeremy Schutze can be tagged as a writer, director, and actor. According to IMDb, he has worked on over 30 projects and is known widely for three movies,  Jennifer's Body (2009), Anacoreta (2022), and The Man in the High Castle (2015).

He was the director, writer, and lead for the Horror movie Anacoreta (2022). This movie outlined a thrilling story of a group of friends traveling for a weekend. They reach an isolated cabin in the forest where they plan to shoot an experimental horror movie. The movie has beautifully outlined the story of a team of film crew meeting a real monster. 

Writing about the attempts to produce a low-budget movie Jeremy wrote on his Instagram that Anacoreta was a pretty weird movie and he is proud of it. Anacoreta won the best horror at the Heartland Film Festival.
