Personal Statement

My goal after graduating High School is to attend a college where I can major in business and marketing with a minor in Pre-Law while also playing basketball at the highest level.  I like to consider myself as a strategic thinker and someone who has an eye for noticing important details that aid in the vision that I have for myself and a team. I would be a good candidate for any team because I come with a student-athlete mindset. 

During my freshmen year of high school, I assisted former Coach Jack of the Bonner / Prendie Friars in drawing up plays for in-game situations. I aided in organizing in-game matchups and made sure the team had the right mindset both on and off the court. Going into my second year I tried out for our schools JV / Varsity team and made it all the way up to the last round of tryouts. Although I was not picked, I continued to apply myself by researching as well as investing my time in learning different plays, directing plays, and the importance of being vocal on the court. 

From the day I made my first three-point shot in fourth grade, I have longed to achieve this goal. This goal is not only rooted in me but also for those who have felt discouraged and believed there was no other way to play in college without a high school track record. I am truly a player with a purpose that extends way beyond myself.
