Profile
I am an Assistant Manager in the Business School’s Education Team. I work with the Education Management Team to support the delivery of an excellent education for all of our students, from induction through to graduation.
After graduating from University, I worked for a consultancy specialising in retail analysis and network planning, mainly in the automotive sector. I joined the 'Management Information Unit' at Newcastle University in 2002. After a year-long secondment to work in the Academic Quality and Standards Team, I returned to work in the Strategic Planning and Change Team. I joined the Business School in 2020.
Roles and Responsibilities
My focus is on Learning and Teaching. I provide professional advice, recommendations and guidance on teaching and quality management across the School’s taught activities. I work with academic and Professional Services colleagues to implement the School’s Strategy and Education for Life sub-strategy. I plan, manage and deliver a range of education related projects. I job-share with Susan Dunnington and work from Tuesday to Friday.
Qualifications and Certificates
- BA Honours in Geography from Leeds University.
- Postgraduate Certificate in University Administration (with Distinction) from Newcastle University
