Personal Statement

As a student athlete, I have learned how to balance academics, athletics, family and friends and work. It takes skill to manage everything, but it's doable. As a wrestler, I have definitely learned that taking the short cut is not always the best. I am a hard worker, never give up and I believe in teamwork and strive to always do my best and encourage others to do the same. I am a Team Captain and try to lead my team with a positive attitude. 

Throughout the years, I have been blessed with meeting some amazing people that have influenced and encouraged me to  push to new levels. My coaches Brandon Benvenuti, Jake Elliott and Sara McMann  have taught me to believe in myself and believe in my training.  Practices were brutal, but I managed to complete each practice with wanting more. 

I currently have a 3.5 GPA.
