Dwight Howard isn't giving up on his hopes of returning to the NBA, even if it means making a plea to Los Angeles Lakers governor Jeanie Buss to sign him via song.

The eight-time All-Star was filmed in a video asking the Lakers to give him another shot before singing, "Jeanie, give me one more chance."

Howard has not made it a secret he still pays close attention to everything involving the Lakers. He had a post on X after Game 4 of their playoff series against the Denver Nuggets that the Lakers won to avoid being swept that made it seem like he believed they could pull off a miracle.

3 to go Let's Go!

After the Lakers were defeated in Game 5 to end their season, Howard sounded off on the decision to break up the roster following their victory in the NBA Finals during the 2019-20 season.

They should've never split that team up … we would've had 3 in a row 💍 like my son would say " On Skibidi"! 😂 ya saying talk about it on stream…what platform should I stream on👀

While most people would point out the core group wasn't broken up until after the 2020-21 season, Howard, naturally, wants everyone to remember the Lakers opted not to bring him back for that year and he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers as a free agent.

Of course, Howard did return to Los Angeles for the 2021-22 season and the team didn't even make the playoffs because injuries to LeBron James and Anthony Davis led to a 33-49 record.

Howard hasn't played in the NBA since that stint with the Lakers. He spent one season with the Taoyuan Leopards in 2022-23.

Despite lobbying for a job in the NBA last summer by saying he could play for "at least 15 to 20 teams," Howard went unsigned before agreeing to a deal with Mets de Guaynabo of Puerto Rico's Baloncesto Superior Nacional in March.

After getting roasted in a playoff series for the second straight year by Nikola Jokić, maybe Howard's pleas will be heard and the Lakers will sign him hoping he can be the Joker stopper.
