Who Are Latresa And Dan Mazzulla? Meet Joe Mazzulla Mother & Father

Joe Mazzulla was born to biracial parents. 

His mother Latresa is a black woman, while his father Dan Mazzula was of Italian descent. 

Joe's father was a former basketball player turned coach who played for Johnston Senior High School and Bryant Bulldogs. Dan also played professional basketball in Chile for five years before returning to the US.

Dan started his coaching career at Johnston High School, leading both boys' and girls' basketball. He was appointed as the Director of the Johnston Parks and Recreation in 2003 and was eventually inducted into the Bryant Hall of Fame in 2007. 

Sadly, Joe's father got diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2019 and passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 61.

On the other hand, Joe's mother Latresa leads a low-key life in California. Latresa, who is currently 60 years old, previously resided in Cranston, Rhode Island.
