Who is Luffy’s Mom? This question remains unanswered at this point. It is a well-known fact that One Piece lacks biological female parental figures; hence it is extremely doubtful that Luffy’s mom’s identity will ever be made public.

Who is Luffy’s Mom?

One Piece never introduced Luffy’s mom, and there is very little information about her. 

Although we don’t know much about Luffy’s mother, we know that Monkey D. Dragon is his father.

Fans of the show are aware that Portgas D. Ace and he both regard Curly Dadan, a character in the show, to be their foster mother. 

Monkey D. Garp, the grandpa of Luffy, reared his grandson for a period before giving him to Curly.

Curly Dadan was the one who brought Luffy up. Garp instantly rid of it whenever he had the opportunity, in typical One Piece fashion, after being given the task of caring for his grandchild.

Mayumi Tanaka, the voice actress for Luffy in the Japanese version of the series, allegedly spoke with Eiichiro Oda years ago, according to ComicBook.com. 

When she questioned him about the mother of the main character in it, he replied, ‘We’re not going to discover anything about his mom or that entire side of his family.’ 

According to the publication, Oda stated in a tweet, ‘I want to present this young man’s narrative, therefore [his] mom is not part of it.’

The tweet is no longer accessible because the Twitter account has already been suspended. 

And Oda previously said, ‘The answer is easy. It’s because so many of the characters in One Piece have moms who are dead or missing. Because the mother is the antithesis of adventure,’ this is the case.
