Who Were Albert Fish Victims? What Horrendous Things Did He Do Them?

Albert Fish was one of the most notoriously brutal serial killers in American history. His victims ranged in age from six to sixteen and included both boys and girls. 

He would often abduct his victims, take them to a secluded location, and torture and murder them. In some cases, he would also cannibalize his victims. 

New York City was home to a serial killer who preyed on children in the early twentieth century. Fish is believed to have killed as many as three dozen people. 

Most of his victims were young boys whom he would lure into his home with the promise of candy or money. Once they were alone, he would torture and kill them, often cannibalizing their bodies.

Fish confessed to killing at least three children, but it is believed that the actual number of his victims was much higher. Despite his horrific crimes, Fish maintained a veneer of respectability throughout his life.

He was a married man with several children and held a steady job as a house painter. It wasn’t until after his arrest that the full extent of his brutality was revealed.

Today, Albert Fish remains one of the most infamous serial killers in American history.

Between 1924 and 1928, he is believed to have killed at least three children. His victims included Francis X. McDonnell, age 8, who he abducted and murdered in July 1924; Billy Gaffney, age 4, who he seized and murdered in February 1927; and Grace Budd, age 10, who he abducted and murdered in June 1928. 

All three victims were innocent children who Fish brutally murdered. 

He was finally apprehended and tried for the murder of Grace Budd, and an electric chair executed him in January 1936.

Fish was a sadistic killer who took pleasure in torturing and murdering his child victims. He was a depraved individual who will forever be remembered as one of America’s most heinous criminals.

What Did He Do To His Victims? 

Albert fish was a notoriously disturbed individual who committed several heinous crimes. His victims were children, whom he would often kidnap and sexually abuse before killing. 

Sometimes, he would even eat his victims, cannibalizing their flesh. Fish also frequently mutilated his victims’ bodies, sometimes removing their genitals or other body parts. He justified his actions by claiming that he was carrying out the will of God.

However, there is no doubt that Albert fish was a disturbed individual who caused tremendous suffering to those he preyed upon.

Prolific 20th-century American serial killer Albert Fish is better known by his many nicknames – The Boogeyman, The Gray Man, The Werewolf of Wysteria, The Brooklyn Vampire, and The Moon Maniac.

Although he claimed to have had 400 victims throughout his killing spree years, he was only convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of 10-year-old Gracie Budd in 1928. 

After abducting and strangling the girl to death, he wrote a letter to her parents explaining how he then consumed her remains over the next week and a half.

While it’s impossible to verify the exact number of people Fish killed, there’s no doubt he was one of the most prolific serial killers in American history. 

In addition to his gruesome murders, he was also a child molester and a cannibal. He once boasted that he “had children in every state.” 

Albert Fish (Hamilton Howard’ Albert’) was born Fish on May 19th, 1870. He was the youngest of his four siblings. His father was 75 when he was born, and his mother, Ellen, was 43 years younger than her husband.

Tired of his nickname, “Ham and Eggs,” Albert renamed himself after a dead sibling. When he was only five years old, his father passed away, leaving behind Alberts’s mother and other children in poverty.

She eventually had to put Albert and the others into an orphanage until she could make ends meet again. Albert would later claim that he was sexually abused while living there.

At 12, Albert ran away from the orphanage and began working as a house painter. Around this time, he began to develop his sadomasochistic tendencies, finding sexual pleasure in pain. He also became interested in young boys. 

Albert Fish moved to Newyork in his 20s, and he started raping young boys, 

In 1898, he Married Anna Mary Hoffman, and they had six children; after his marriage, he did not his act of abusing young boys.

In 1910, Alber met a 19 years disabled young boy Thomas Hedden; after Albert met him, he kidnapped and tortured 19 years old Kedden for almost two weeks. 

After being badly tortured, Albert finally killed the young boy, and he cut a different part of his body and took it home. 

Albert Fish again tortured and killed a young boy Francis McDonnel, and Albert left him hanging from a tree.

In 1937, Albert Fish saw a four years old boy, Billy Gaffney, and Albert kidnapped him from the child’s apartments; after the kidnapping, he killed a four years old child badly, and he mentioned everything that he did with the young boy in a letter, Albert put that letter near his body.

In 1928, Albert met Grace Budd in his office, and the killer pretended to be a former. He came to look at a Farmland and convinced her parent to let him take her to a party; later, the little child was never seen again.
