Personal Statement

There's been a lot of things that I've learned through my life, but it hasn't been until these final fleeting moments that I have learned how much I love wrestling. Through wrestling I've learned many things such as respect, discipline, humor,  perseverance, but unfortunently it has not taught me how to say goodbye. I want to find a good place for me to wrestle and to learn. But I don't want to just continue wrestling; I don't want to settle for a participation award. I want to reach newfound goals in wrestling. It might start as a positive record, then become a conference championship, and then all-American. I am highly aware that currently I am no where close to being the best wrestler, so I'm more than willing to listen to my coaches and be coachable so that I can accomplish my goals. I know I have the ability, I just need to be given the opportunity.
