William Prewitt, III Obituary, Death – The family of William Wathen Prewitt, III announces the demise of a beloved 83-year-old Jonesboro, Arkansas resident. William passed away peacefully on November 27, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born to William Wathen Prewitt, II and Evelyn (Taylor) Prewitt in Osceola, Arkansas on April 26, 1940.

William sought comfort and fellowship in his religion as a professed member of the St. Timothy Anglican Church. Photographing special events and losing himself in the complex hobby of collecting model trains were two of his greatest passions. Staying Alive William lives with his cherished wife of 22 years, Linda Prewitt. William Wathen Prewitt, IV of New Mexico and John Prewitt of Fayetteville, Arkansas are his sons.

Tessa Greenway and Winry Posey are his granddaughters and one grandson, respectively. He is also survived by many beloved friends and relatives. His legacy will endure indelibly in their souls. William Wathen Prewitt, II, his parents, and Evelyn (Taylor) Prewitt, one of his siblings, all passed away before him. A memorial ceremony, officiated by Father Tom, will be place at the St. Timothy Anglican Church on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in honor of his life.
